Today I was checking the stats on my blog. I do this cause you sometimes find interesting things. Today I found a referrer from a search for “jocelyn szeto”.
If you do a Google search of her name, with the quotes, my wordpress blog will show up as the last link on the first page. Bad things you do, that I write about appear to stick around on the Internet for years.

Recap: Jocelyn thought she could sign a one year lease with two other people, try to sublease her room for the summer, fail, and not pay rent for the summer instead. It went to small claims court. Judge laughs in Jocelyn’s dad’s face for brining the suit to court. Her dad is a doctor with a legal degree. Apparently not a good lawyer since you learn to not take crappy cases like this in your first year of law school. Anyway the conclusion http://jasonwu7890795.wordpress.com/2006/02/16/judgment/ was of course, hey Ms. Szeto you have to pay rent for a lease you signed. So she had to pay the rent due for summer to her roommates who covered it PLUS interest. There was some doubt if she would pay or not. Judgments don’t always end with the person owed money getting paid. She did pay, so I guess she isn’t ALL bad?!
The internet is a dangerous place for your past discretions to come to the surface. I generally try not to post anything bad about anybody I care about, so let me know if I do so I can remove it. This includes pictures where you are drunk off your knocker or even smoking a cigarette, if that is something you want to keep private. I don’t want any of my friends’ dark secret lives to be revealed because of me. I do have some ‘private’ picture folders if you ever want to come over and have a look. I even have some pictures of the before mentioned Ms. Szeto, nice and drunk looking, having a good time with the people who would later take her to court for being dumb and not paying rent.
Long story short, don’t do stupid things. They seem to stick around for longer than you want.

The title shouldn’t shock you any more than “Karl Malone sucks.”
Bowen use to be a crappy player who decided to play dirty defense and learn how to shoot the 3 from the corner better than he can shoot free throws. Who plays defense with their foot this high?

Sorry to your nuts Peja.

d. all of the above are correct
e. two and only two of these are correct
f. none of the above are correct

Instead of studying these last few minutes before my 2-6pm closed book final for Property, I will tell you about my Houston Rockets.
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/5759867.html
Basically, T-Mac played with injuries. Sadly none of the injuries were with his brain. So we’ll still see weak jump shots when we don’t need it.
Rafer will get surgery on his hamstring.
Shane will get surgery to remove particles from his ankle. Sounds like Andrew.
Ok, I admit it, there was not really a point to this post. I’m just killing some time before the test.

Henry commented on how I can study in public places because of the distractions. The answer is that blocking out more noise seems easier for me. I can study in a quiet environment and I can study in relatively noise filled environments. The worst is when I’m in a quiet environment and there is a single noise. I tend to focus on the single noise. Either way, my study habits are poor and the fact that I am studying at all, in a noisy or quiet environment is already a step in the right direction. Its similar to very out of shape people getting exercise by walking. It isn’t much but it’s a step in the right direction.
Of course the question really should be, why do I keep picking study places with WiFi, the greatest distraction.
Once again, I’m studying in a WiFi filled environment even louder than Panera Bread. Today I’m visiting one of my favorite places to eat, Freebirds.
The only thing I really wanted to mention was that today at Freebirds I got chump change. I got a monster burrito and a drink and got charged something and 23 cents. I recall Freebirds only dealing in quarters or higher. Maybe it’s just a Houston thing, but in Austin, I never got anything smaller than a quarter as change.

http://myespn.go.com/blogs/truehoop/0-32-142/Tyson-Chandler-Was-Right–Dallas-Got-Chucky.html
… it reminds me of when I was little. I begged for the My Buddy doll, begged for the My Buddy doll. I kept asking, “Ma, get me the My Buddy. Ma, get me the My Buddy.” But my mom couldn’t really afford it, so she couldn’t get it for me at that time.
So, I kept at it. “Ma, get me a My Buddy. Every other kid got a My Buddy. Mom, I never get anything!” Just making my mom feel bad.
So, my uncle told my mom, “I’ll fix this.” I didn’t know my uncle told my mom that, but he came over with this video and pops it in the machine. I’m like, “Ah, My Buddy!” And it turns out it was the Chucky movie.
All the next week, I’m telling my mom, “Please, don’t get me My Buddy. Please, don’t get me My Buddy.”
So sometimes, what you think you really want, you don’t really want. The Mavericks think they want us, and they asked for us, and we ain’t gonna be My Buddy. They’re gonna get Chucky.
